Channel steel

Height : It refers to the vertical distance from the bottom surface to the top surface of the channel steel. The height values of different models correspond to the above – mentioned models, with various sizes such as 80mm, 100mm, and 120mm.

Leg width : It is the width of the two legs on both sides of the channel steel, usually varying between 43mm and 110mm. For example, the leg width of an 8# channel steel is generally 43mm, and that of a 16# channel steel is 63mm.

Web thickness : It is the thickness of the middle web of the channel steel, generally ranging from 4.8mm to 12.5mm. For instance, the web thickness of an 8# channel steel is 5.0mm, and that of a 20# channel steel is 7.0mm.
